I am Ajunta Pall. This is my story.
Chapter One: Day of Acceptance
I remember the day I was accepted to the Jedi Academy. It is strange that I remember, but I do. I was twenty-nine months
old when found by the Jedi who brought me back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
I was not believed by my teachers to be very strong in the force. I was at the time I was taken to the Temple weaker in
the force than even the average Jedi. I was also not thought to have good combat potential. They looked at me and saw only
a weak diplomat. That was not what I was destined to become, I would be great.
I was taken by the Jedi who found me before the Council. They found in me little anger or fear. They did not see hate.
They did not see the darkside within me because at that time it was not there.
Ohhh, I remember it so clearly. Master Dorel asked many questions. Dorel was one of the council members, but he was on
the lower half of it rank-wise. I remember Dorel having long hair that fell almost to his waist. He had dark brown eyes, and
was a tall lean build. He was an Echani. He vouched for me to be taught.
The Council decided that I would be trained in the ways of the Jedi. The ways of the weak.
Chapter Two: My Early Training
I remember that it was not until the age of eighty-four months that I began real Jedi training. Before that, because they
had seen only a weak diplomat before them when they looked upon me, they taught me to speak dozens of languages, I could write
four of them, by fifty months.
By eighty months I could write sixteen languages and speak over two hundred. I also by eighty-four months could use the
force to add extra persuasion to my arguments in a debate.
This training I hated. I knew that one day I would be a warrior. That one day these Jedi would no longer restrict me.
Chapter Three: My First Year of Real Training
When I turned eighty months of age, I began "real" training. I knew it would be far more helpful than the waste of time
everything up to that point had been.
I was assigned by the Council to be taught by Master Ukan Opaak. It may only be because he was my mentor for a time that
he seems as great as he was in my eyes, but I am sure he was powerful. I heard stories about him before I became his padawan.
One was about when he killed two powerful Dark Jedi by himself and saved the lives of several thousand people who would have
otherwise been killed by the force storms the Dark Jedi were creating.
Ukan was a human. He was tall. A head higher than most of the Jedi.
The first thing that he taught me was how to use telekinesis. We focused on this for a few weeks and by the end of the
third I would levitate over a hundred pounds for a few minutes.
We then began to look at ways to affect the minds of others. I had already learned many of the basics of this and was by
the end of the second week able to make a person see in the corner of their eye things that weren’t really there.
For the rest of my first year my master showed me many force techniques such as ways to absorb energy, suppress pain, extend
my hearing, enhance my sense of smell, and increase my vision. By the end of my first year, based on my age, I was able to
see four times as far as an average person, hear twice as well, smells twice as well, absorb the energy in a small power cell,
and withstand the pain from small abrasions easily. I know now that I was making good process, but at the time I felt that
I was lacking, that I would never become a great Jedi.
Chapter Four: My Ninth Year of Training, Part One, Trouble with Terrorist
I began my ninth year of training when near the time of my sixteenth birthday. I have broken it into several parts, all
of them part of my ninth year. I, in the chapter before this described many of my capabilities in the force. By this time
I was twenty times as powerful as then, but I was still weakened by the lightside of the force. I could hold hundreds of pounds
in the air for over thirty minutes without overly straining myself. I was able to absorb great deals of energy and if I was
meditating, I could see what would happen hours from now.
By now the Council was beginning to requesting their initial belief that I had little potential in the force and that I
would never be able to become a Guardian. I had by this time learned much of Form One. I was the best in my class with a lightsaber
and could cause my master to break a sweat when we sparred.
I have many reasons for choosing this year to write about. One is it is the year I was in my first major conflict.
There were two nations on this one planet and both wanted control. The Council sent my master and myself to this planet
to resolve this situation.
It was an outer rim planet and it took of several days to get there.
We arrived on Agrenew late at night and landed in the west nation. The nations were actually called east and west because
there was only one continent on Agrenew and the border between the two nations went north to south across the continent and
the people just felt it was an easy way to name themselves.
Only a few minutes after we arrived on Agrenew my master left to go monitor peace negotiations between the two countries.
I was supposed to help the security forces find a terrorist cell somewhere in the north part of the eastern country.
I got there quickly and had little trouble tracking the terrorist down. The entire process took only a few days. I then
went to confront the terrorist.
I arrived at the terrorist headquarters at about two in the afternoon local time. As soon as I got there I knew something
wasn’t right about the place, but I knew that I had to stop these terrorist actions.
The person at the front desk told me to remove my lightsaber and told me to directly precede to the meeting area. I used
a mind trick and made him think that I had removed my lightsaber and that I left with the guards. I would go to the meeting
area, but first I was going to do some exploring. I had some time.
I found a long corridor that strangely had no doors on either side. It then expanded into circular room with a single door.
On the door was a sign warning people not to enter. I was going to walk away, but the force guided me to open the door. I
knew it was necessary. It was the will of the force.
The door had a heavy lock that I estimate would have been able to resist a few blaster bolts. I knew it would be no problem
for my lightsaber though. I looked behind me to make sure no one was watching. Good, the coast was clear.
I ignited my lightsaber, but when it touched the door, it couldn’t cut it. I tried again. Once more, it was unable
to cut it. I stared at the lock in disbelief for a second, then tried again. Still, it was resistant to my lightsaber.
I then attempted to stab my lightsaber through the door. It could not penetrate it. Only little amount of the door, as
small as pebbles fell off. I thought about continuing to attempt to cut it again, but it would take to long and I was running
out of time.
Disappointed, I returned to the meeting room. Still, there was something strange going on behind that door.
I went to the main meeting room of the building and was told that the people I was here to negotiate with would be along
shortly. When they asked why I had taken so long to get there I told them that I had been held up by security at the front
desk.
I was sitting in there meditating when poison poured into the room but I was immune to it because of my Jedi training.
They obviously didn’t know my power. I left the room quickly through a hole I cut in the wall.
I entered a large room on the opposite side of where I had entered the meeting place. I was about forty feet from one of
the corners of the room. A door opened somewhere to my left. Dozens of terrorist poured through it with blasters in hand.
I was surprised by the discipline they demonstrated. One of them yelled for me to drop my lightsaber and put my hands in the
air or I would be killed. I told them I would do no such thing. I let them know that I didn’t want to kill them, but
that I would if necessary. I knew I would be fine, I was a warrior of the light.
One of the terrorist yelled, "You...you, a single Jedi is threatening us? I laugh at you pathetic attempt to save yourself."
I spoke back in a cool voice, "I do not want to kill you. I will give you two choices. The first, you let me leave un-harassed.
The second, you die. It’s your call."
The person who had talked before spoke again, "You are a fool to act as if you are in control."
The then raised their blasters and began to fire.
"Then death is your choice."
I easily blocked everyone of their blaster blots, at first directing them into the walls leaving time for whoever would
flee time to leave. After about twenty seconds, I began to reflect the blaster bolts back at them. They began to drop to the
floor.
I then charged at them, still blocking their fire. Several began to run, but I was to fast. A third of them where dead
in less than half a minute. This was taking to long though. I needed to report back to my master as fast as possible.
I gave in further to the force and let it show me what to do next. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them,
I saw it.
There was a power converter hanging above the terrorist. I began to direct the blaster fire into the supports holding it
up. It fell shortly afterwards. It fell to the ground hard.
At first when it hit the ground nothing happened. We all just stopped and stared at it for a moment and then, bam! It exploded
in a huge fireball. The flames sucked the air out of the room and the sonic boom from the pressure change deafened everyone
for a minute.
Well, it deafened me for a minute, it deafened the terrorist who attacked me for an eternity.
I stomped out the flames on my cloak and the walked away. There was nothing else that I could do there and I needed to
report back to my master as soon as possible.
I used the force to assist my body and ran out of the terrorist headquarters at a speed that no human could move at without
the force.
I saw a speeder a little less than a hundred feet down the road and ran to it. The driver of the speeder was a middle-age
man. I told him that I am a Jedi and offered him five hundred credits to borrow his speeder. He agreed and I raced-off to
the place where the peace conferences were taking place.
I wasn’t really very far from where the negations were taking place and it took me slightly less than an hour to
get there.
I arrived there about two hours before the peace negations ended, but was able to speak with my master right away. I told
him about how I was attacked. When I finished there was a dark look upon his face. He then asked me if I had seen anything
else. I told him that I had found a strange door that was impervious to my lightsaber and I was unable to find out what was
on the other side of it.
He had a grave look on his face. I asked him what was wrong. He didn’t reply. It was almost as if he was in a trance.
Then, several seconds later, he ran into where the negotiators were talking and started yelling for all of them to leave them
room immediately. I ran to his side and tried to ask him what was wrong, but he just kept yelling for the negotiators to leave.
Something bad had happened. Once everyone was out he told me to get the ship. I wasted no time and was there as fast as
I could.
When I got there Ukan was on his way to the ship, about half way. I opened the landing ramp and ran aboard. I was running
towards the cockpit when the ship lurched violently and I was thrown onto the floor. I got up and ran the rest of the way
to cockpit and began ship startup procedures. The ship continued to rock. A piece of something hit the bottom of the ship
and it shook violently. What in the galaxy was going on out there. Well, looking outside would be the easier way to find out.
I then looked out the veiwscreen and was horrified by what I saw.
The city was ablaze. Fires covered the surface. There were hundreds of ships rising into the air, trying to get away from
the carnage that had once been their homes. Ukan was now aboard and I started to take off. We were at about three hundred
meters when he yelled for me to stop rising. We needed to hold our altitude. I asked him why we shouldn’t keep rising.
The altitude we were at was still dangerous. There were flames from explosions shooting over two kilometers into the air.
He simply pointed above up. I looked up and was as horrified by what I saw above as by what I had seen on the surface.
The ships that had been fleeing the planet we exploding after they reached an altitude of two kilometers, the same height
as the explosions, but they weren’t be destroyed by the explosions, it was by something else.
I then felt very cold and passed out.
Chapter Five: My Ninth Year of Training, Part Two, Preparing for Battle
The following events take place during the time that I was unconscious. I was told by Ukan when I awakened that I after
I passed out he took control of the ship and waited there for about twenty hours until he felt though the force that the barrier
to leave the planet was no longer there. He then flew to the planet Reloth and set down there.
I awoke about twenty minutes after we had gotten there and was greeted by a master, my master, preparing for combat. My
master was one of the best in combat. Although he is around fourteen hundred years old, he has no problem with stamina or
keeping up with any of the younger Jedi. He appears to be in his mid-thirties actually. He is human, and I have long wondered
how he is able to live so long. The council never says anything about it though, so I assume he has already told them. He
has tons of strange weapons that make him quite possibly the most dangerous person alive.
He had two regular lightsabers attached to his belt. They appeared to be regular lightsabers at least. He had told me one
that these had been specially enhanced for some purpose, but he never told me what that purpose was exactly. He also had four
lightdagger on his belt.
His lightclaws, which were part of his best combat gloves, gave him three eight-inch blades extruding from each fist. His
gloves also had a cortosis weave in them because hand and wrist injuries were the most common.
He then attached a wristsaber to his left arm. A wristsaber looks like a steel cuff that attaches to the arm a few inches
from the wrist. He had arm bracers with cortosis weaves and a helmet with a cortosis weave.
My master had the greatest armor of any Jedi alive. Cortosis weave, which is still not understood very well, allows lightsabers
to be deflected. There are only three Jedi so far who have had cortosis equipment that I know of. Cortosis weave is still
very crude though and although one day it may be able to completely block a lightsaber, currently it only slightly slows one
down, but that’s better than nothing.
He then brought out his finest weapon. He had actually done a lot of work inventing it. He named it since he made the first
working model and did a lot of the design work. His name sucks though. He calls it the great lightsaber. What a dumb name.
Whatever though. It’s over ten feet long. He has let other people try to wield it effectively, but none of them can.
One day he decided to test it though and asked several of the other Masters to spar with him. He defeated Master Tuke Ako
with no problem. He then beat Master Tuke, Master Tord, Master Delin, and Master Kreto by himself. Four Masters! The great
saber did have a flaws though, one being that it wasn’t very good for one-on-one combat. Two, it used it’s energy
supply up very quickly because the energy required to keep the blade focused at such a length was over a thousand times what
is required for a regular length lightsaber, although he is already working on a more efficient design. It would serve well
though.
The great lightsaber actually used the hilt of his regular lightsaber. It had an attachment that fit onto the back of it
and another that went on the front. The front piece was about three inches long. It had four prongs that extended from it
that went in the same direction as the blade. These contained extra little focusing devices to keep the blade’s energy
from dispersing at the great length. The back piece held many thing. One was an extra focusing crystal. It was much longer
than the first piece, about seven inches long. There was also a small bomb in there that was force activated by Ukan alone.
He put it in there to make sure that his blade was never able to be copied.
There was always this small box that he kept with him, but I had never scene him open it before. When he did I felt a surge
of energy race outwards from what was apparently a crystal. I was nearly overcome by it’s awesome power. I shielded
myself from it’s affects after a moment and returned mostly to normal. I asked him what it was and he said it was a
kaiburr crystal. A very powerful kaiburr crystal at that. It greatly enhances anyone’s connection to the force when
they are near it.
He then put a amulet around his neck. I had never scene this either and asked him what it was. He told me that it is a
device that he found about six hundred years ago while exploring a planet he would not name. He said that it fed off of the
force energy that his body naturally radiated and stored it. When he wore it he could tap into the saved energy and things
that would normally have required a lot of his own energy could be done with almost no effort on his part. He also told me
that he had never scene another like it, but he was pretty sure there are others somewhere.
He then attached a small device to the back of his neck. It started to make a low humming noise after a few seconds. I
asked him what this they was as well, and he said that it was a very experimental device that was basically a small medical
center. It could stimulate cell replication, inject anti-toxins, inject adrenaline, and provide nutrients during combat.
He was ready to kill. And he was about to do it. He then told me to prepare for combat. I quickly grabbed my lightsaber.
And, well, that was it. I felt horribly underperpared for whatever it was we were going to face, but I still strode out of
the room confidently. My master was by the exit ramp. I once again felt the surge of power from the kaiburr crystal. The energy
that came from it was amazing. It was like standing in the midst of a thousand Jedi and feeling the brush of their force aura
brushing against you. I knew that something more important than anything I had yet done in my life was about to happen.
Ukan then lowered the landing ramp and we were on our way. It was a cold planet and I could see no form of civilization
anywhere. Ukan then began to walk away from the ship and I followed him. I asked him where we were headed to and he said that
there was a hidden facility a few miles from us. I figured that he had landed far away to avoid drawing attention.
Where are these people, I thought to my self? Why won’t my master tell me more about them? What makes them so dangerous
that my master came here without reporting what had happened on Agrenew to the council first?
There was a dark aura here. It was not a place that I wanted to stay for long.
Suddenly Ukan broke into a full sprint. I followed and saw the enemy. They were waiting for us with their weapons ready.
There were over a hundred of them. Probably about a hundred and ten. They were equal to a small army. This made me like this
place even less. Questions still raced though my mind. I wanted to know why we were here and not on Coruscant. Why were we
doing this without asking the council first. All of this was so strange. Each one of them was ready to fight. Each one was
ready to die. Each one was ready to kill.
Chapter Six: My Ninth Year of Training, Part Three, The Battle of Reloth
For what seemed like an eternity, we simply stared at each other. Two of us against over a hundred of them. I didn’t
think this would turn out well. At first I believed they were just some group of pirates or something. I thought it would
be a tough fight, that Ukan, myself, or both of us might be killed, but there was a fair chance of us winning the day. Then
my hope of survival vanished.
Each of these people I had previously, and mistakenly, referred to as pirates, ignited lightsabers. It was incredible.
A hundred blue and green blades of energy igniting at the same time will really get your adrenaline pumping especially if
you are going to be fighting those hundred blades.
The apparent leader of the group was a tall, thin woman. She had hair black that fell about halfway to her waist and the
look of death in her eyes. She was ready to kill Ukan and myself. She then pointed her lightsaber at Ukan and yelled something
I didn’t catch to her troops.
Almost as if they were machines, they each in perfect unison pointed their blades at us and ran towards us. They were a
good three hundred feet away from us, so it took them a few seconds to get to us.
I glanced at my master for a second and heard him say to me. "These are Jedi. This is what the Order has become. For all
the efforts of thousands of years and the lives of millions, this is what it has become. This is what it comes down to. I,
Ukan Opaak Hord, formally depart from the Jedi Order and it’s beliefs. I follow the true light of the force. May the
force be all, even those I slay."
I shouted an agreement with my master. We were the first to break away from our Master’s. Not the first ever of course,
but the first in this millennium. We were no longer Jedi. We had forsaken that path in hope of a better path. One more true.
It will take some time I believe for this to truly settle in.
Chapter Seven: My Ninth Year of Training, Part Four
I said earlier in my journal that there are reasons that I chose to write about this year. The biggest is that this is
the year that it is currently. I am just about to plunge into combat alongside my master. I have just abandoned the ways of
the Jedi. I believe that this will be the end of my journal, for death awaits me. Now, I will fight.
I am not afraid of the Jedi. They no longer hold me. They no longer bind me with their weakness. You would think that I
have fallen to the darkside, but I haven’t. I still follow the light, just light that the Jedi don’t see. I serve
the will of the force.
Our enemies believe that we are weak. I’m not to bad myself, but my master was able to waste a guy before I had even
gotten close to one of them. I suddenly felt power pour into me. Amazing power. I had never felt so strong before. I knew
instantly what this power was. It was the darkside. I resisted and overcame the temptation. I was able to harness it for my
just purposes. I knew that if I didn’t do it for long, I wouldn’t be corrupted.
Slash, parry, strike, counter. One was down. I knew that I was really just there to try and draw a few of them away from
my master. I wanted to run to his side, but he told me through the force to stay away from him. He needed room to work.
He then held his great lightsaber in a force grip and struck the ground with his left hand. All of the Jedi within ten
meters of him either flew back or were knocked to their knees. He two regular lightsabers flew into the air and he was controlling
them with the force! I had never seen anything like this before, his lightsabers were swinging and such, being controlled
only though the force. He then brought his greatlightsaber back to his hands and began to fight again.
His new technique was working well. Eight Jedi lay dead around him. I on the other hand was not doing very well, having
defeated only two of them. One, was a human woman with short hair and fire in her eyes. The other was a Rodian. I was already
tiring from this fight and was having difficultly fighting the Jedi.
The fight continued this way for several minutes, then Ukan jumped high into the air. He was over thirty feet above the
ground when his four lightdaggers flew from his side and impaled for of the unsuspecting Jedi before they even had a chance
to react. The daggers then flew back to his side and by the time he hit the ground, they were already secured to his belt.
Even now that Ukan had defeated nineteen of them, things weren’t looking good. Ukan was just now beginning to sweat,
but I was exhausted. I had killed only three of the Jedi and I’m having difficulty deflecting their strikes. I then
summoned more energy from the force and threw a bolt of force lightning at one of the Jedi and got a direct hit.
She was down for the rest of the fight. Jedi rarely used force lightning and it was not often taught, but master Ukan believed
that it was a very important technique, so he had taught it to me a few years ago.
Ukan, sensing that I was in trouble used the moved one of his lightsabers that he was controlling with the force to assist
me. I did notice however, that the further the lightsaber went from Ukan, the less he was able to do with it. I moved a little
closer to him.
Now that I had Ukan’s lightsaber protecting my back, I only had to worry about attacks the front and was able to
go on the offensive again. I once again let the force control my movements.
Shortly, Ukan’s great lightsaber was beginning to run out of power. It started to flicker, then went out. Bam! He
through the hilt at one of the Jedi and then used the force to grab it back and put it back on his belt. He brought one of
the lightdaggers to his right hand and started to fight with that. He then activated his wristsaber. Using his left hand,
since it was free, he began to throw force lightning at the enemies. Many of them blocked it, but other were hit and out of
the fight.
I had done pretty well myself with Ukan watching my back with one of his lightsabers. I had managed to kill eleven of the
Jedi. Ukan had managed to defeat over sixty of them by now, but I was still proud of my skill. There were only about thirty
of them left, less than half of the original number.
I was sure glad Ukan had that Kaiburr crystal or else we would have died a while ago. Within five minutes of when I had
hit that one Jedi with force lightning Ukan had taken out another twenty-two of the Jedi. I had defeated four more. That left
just nine. The leader of them, I described her earlier, was only about twenty meters away from me now.
Ukan then was hit on his wristsaber and it was destroyed. He used his trick where he threw out the lightdaggers again for
what was probably the tenth time and killed three more of them since he was holding one of the daggers and fighting with that.
I killed another. Ukan then hit four of them at the same time with a concentrated burst of energy. All were killed. That left
only the leader.
I suddenly recognized her. She was a powerful master who was very good. If Ukan was tired, he didn’t show it, but
I felt like I was going to fall apart at any second. I brought my lightsaber into a defensive stance and prepared to fight
her. The last thing I saw was she raised her hand and a massive wave of force lightning flying towards me.
The following is how the battle went as from the view of Ukan.
She is a great warrior. I remember watching her grow. She was taken to the Jedi Temple only fifty-two years ago. She was
always a leader. She was smart. She was strong. She was powerful. But she is evil, like all of the Jedi. Though it hurts me
more than words can tell, I will now fight her and kill her. I spoke to her, "Tala, I am sorry it has to be like this. May
the force be with you." She replied, "Me too."
We stood there for a moment, looking at each other. We had been friends. I was unsure if I would be able to kill her. She
drew her lightsaber and I brought my lightdagger into a defensive position, ready to let her make the first move.
She charged at me. As soon as she reached where I was, I took a step towards her and to the left a little, and parried
her strike. I turned around to face her and she sent a large blast of lightning at me, much like the one that I hoped had
only knocked Ajunta out, it may have killed him. I blocked it with my right hand and let it flow back into the living force.
She plunged at me again and this time I stood my ground and blocked her strike. She swung again and I blocked it. She continued
to swing at me and I continued to block. We continued like this for around fifteen seconds, then I used the force to move
behind her very quickly and then stabbed he in the back with my lightclaws. He dying words, "May the Force be with you."
I did not remorse. I went to Ajunta right afterwards. He was injured, but he would be all right. He had gotten several
bad cuts and bruises during the fight. He was also badly burned by the force lightning. I sent him into a healing trance.
It would be several hours before he would awake. In the meantime I went to see what it was the Jedi were defending here. I
believe that it has something to do with that door my padawan found on Agrenew. There are so many questions that need answering.
I will head to the building they came from.
Chapter Eight: The Library of the Jedi
This is back to Ajunta.
I woke during the night. It took me several seconds to figure out what had happened. I eventually guessed that after the
fight Ukan had put me into a healing trance. He had left a note saying that he had gone to the building the Jedi were defending.
I was to meet him there.
Ukan had clipped my lightsaber back t my belt and I left right away. It felt really good to be alive. I knew that I was
going to die in that fight, but apparently I underestimated Ukan. He had never shown his skill with a lightsaber like that
before. I also never knew his last name was Hord. Or that he is left handed.
It took me about twenty-five minutes to get over to where Ukan was. When I got in there, he was reading a large book. I
asked him what it was. He said it was an Ancient Sith book on alchemy. It told how to create Sith swords. He told me that
he wanted me to look at this book he had read earlier. It had some of the history of the Sith. I went over and began looking
at it. It was well over three hundred pages. Large pages. The book was about a foot tall and a foot wide. After a few hours
I started to talk to Ukan. He set down his book and we started to talk.
Ajunta, "How old do you think this place is? Got to be over a thousand years."
Ukan, "I don’t know for sure, but I would guess it to be over three thousand years old. This is just the top level,
there is a ton more books underground."
Ajunta, "Do you plan to read it all. I mean, you apparently have lived a really long time, but I don’t think I’m
going to be living as long. I don’t really think I should try and read it all.
Ukan, "This will be our base of operations. We will wage war against the Jedi. They must be destroyed. I have already talked
to six masters, including Master Dorel. They have all agreed to help us, for they too see the evil of the Jedi. They will
come here, along with their students and we will teach them what we learn in this library. We will rule a new order of Sith,
and we will destroy the Jedi. Dorel should be arriving here with four of his best students shortly."
Ajunta, "There are not enough of us to defeat the Jedi. Maybe twenty of us against five thousand Jedi. No, even a hundred
of you could not defeat that."
Ukan, " We will stay here and grow. This place has power. This place is strong in the force. I will find a way to defeat
the Jedi."
Ajunta, "Yes, master. We will conquer the galaxy."
Chapter Nine: The Arrival of the First Masters
The next day around noon Dorel arrived with his students. They were Yojo, Reth, Tae, and Cigis. Yojo was a Kel-Dor male
and Dorel’s best student. Reth was a female twi-lek and was rather tall. Tae was a girl also, and she was a short human.
Cigis isn’t actually a student of Dorel, she had just asked to come along. She was a healer. She saved my life on more
than one occasion.
We greeted them and showed them around the place. Yojo was very curios about the library. He wanted to get to work right
away. I liked his way of doing things.
The first thing that I showed them was a method that Ukan had found in a book. It was a way to focus one’s capability
a little higher than normal. I was able maybe eight or nine percent better at it after about three hours. What I mean by percent
is that I was able to hold eight percent more weight than I could before. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but that much
increase in such a short period of time isn’t something to laught about.
Ukan spent a lot of the time learning, teaching to me, and then I taught it to everyone else. Ukan was slowy becoming more
distant. He was the only one of us that every went below the surface level of the library. We also concluded that the Jedi
had never gone down there either. It appeared to have been unopened for at least a couple hundred years.
Over the next few weeks, more former Jedi joined us. Some of these include Jukel, Naje, Rueg, and Yage. After five weeks,
there was twenty-two of us. We had all known eachother as Jedi at one time or another and it was nice to be able to see old
friends again.
Over time, began doing a lot of the teaching. Ukan hadn’t seen for several days, then one afternoon he walked out
and told me he had something of great importance to show me. It was my first time into the underlevel. Yoja and Tae cam also.
This was going to be something special. Something very special.
Chapter Ten: The Art of Sword Magic
We deceded deep into the library. I was amazed by the number of books here. There had to be millions. We had gone about
five stories into the library when Ukan walked over to one book. He said it was a book containing some of the knowlege on
enhancing a swords properties to amazing levels. They are better than lightsabers if someone is good enough at making them.
Ukan brought the book into a circular cove type area and began to teach us how to enhance swords. After many weeks, he
presented us each with a regular metal sword. Nothing was special about these swords except that these would be the ones we
would test our new skill on.
Each of us chose a different thing to add to our sword, but someone good enough could potentialy add more than what all
of us combined were adding. Tae chose to make her’s get very cold when focused apon. She went first and Yojo and myself
watched her intently. It took her a day or so to complete it, but when she was done, her sword was able of reaching temperatures
below negative 50 degrees. It added considerably to the damage the blade was capable of doing.
Yojo went next. He decided to try and do the same with his blade and make in cold. It didn’t take him as long, but
his sword couldn’t get as cold. He was proud of his acheivement though.
I then decided to try something different and attempted to make my blade burn with intense heat. I was the most succesful
of all of us. It took me maybe six or seven hours to make my blade so that it would raise to temperatures of over four hundred
degrees.
Ukan then had each of us at the same time try to strengthen our blades. We don’t know how much stronger each of our
blades became because we didn’t brake them, but each of us was definatly succesful.
I find this art of sword magic to be very intresting. I know I’m good at it. I will try to find out how to do more
with it. The best way to get good at it is to use it a lot. I will become the one who teaches the way of sword enhancement.
Over the next several months I taught everyone how to make a sword at least as good as the first one I made. My own skill
in the art increased tremdously. I was undisputedly the best at it, even better than Ukan, who favored lightsabers. I knew
there was something special about sword magic. There was something that would change my life. I would make a powerful sword.
Chapter Eleven: The Loss of Two, The Revealing of the Sword
After about thirty-seven months of studying and training, two of our members became rather reckless. They wanted to start
a war with the Jedi.O told them that it would be unwise to attack, that we aren’t ready. They didn’t care. They
wanted to attack. I told them that we needed to remain hidden from the Jedi. That if we didn’t, we would be destroyed.
They didn’t listen, I had to remove them.
It was Jukel and Yage that I was forced to destroy. It was a pitty, they were powerful. I did enjoy the chance to unleash
my sword though.
It had taken thousands of hours to make. It had required dozens of books to learn how to make it. It was worth it all.
My sword was amazing. It’s blade was so hard and sharp, that it could cut through armor with ease. It could stand up
to a lightsaber and not dull. It focused my energy and allowed me to make devastating attacks that I would have been otherwise
unable to do.
After I told them that they could not leave they became angered. Very angry infact. They said that I was not the leader.
That is could not make them stay here. Yage pulled out his sword. I had actualy helped him make it. He attacked me. I blocked,
and stabbed at him. He jumped away from me. I told him that he was no match for me. I told him that a war now would push us
to the darkside. He didn’t believe me. I felt sorry for him, he could still come back to the light if he wanted to.
He then threw a stream of force lightning at me. I blocked it with my blade. This sword was incredible. I was so powerful
with it. Yage was near a cliff. He used another stream of force lightning on me, which I easily threw back at him. I didn’t
expect it to knock him off the cliff though. He fell to his death. I was angered. Why did he have to fight me. We would destroy
the evil Jedi soon enough.
I don’t think Jukel woud have attacked me if that hadn’t had happened. She and Yage gad been close though.
She fell to the darkside. She threw her enhanced sword at me. I blocked it. She then used the force to call it back to her
hamds. Once it was back in her hands she fled to the top of a near mountain. With her force enhanced speed it took her only
a few moments to get there. I was right behind her, building up energy in my sword on my way there.
By the time I got to the top of the mountain my sword was glowing a faint red. I wasn’t hot by the handle though.
She ran at me before I had been on the summet for five seconds. I let all of the energy channel out of ine side of my blade,
the side facing her, and she was killed instantly and painlessly. I hoped Ukan wouldn’t be really mad. I then began
to walk back toward the library.
Chapter Twelve: Time Passed
Nothing really important happened for years. After the fight, I went back to the library and informed Ukan what had happened.
He wasn’t mad at me for killing them. He was mad that they were dumb enough to want to start a war and give away our
location. He said to not leave untill he spoke to me again. He went deeper into the library than anyone. He learned things
that we may only dream of.
The library wasn’t just filled with books. There was training machines down there. There was a massive armory of
swords and other ancient weapons. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out who had made this place. Ukan believed that
it was a group of ancient Sith led by a dark lord named Agan Wodas.
Chapter Thirteen: The Schism Among Us
I wondered for a long time where Ukan had gone. I believe that he had spent some time in the libreary after we had talked,
but then he disapered. He apparently left the planet. This led to a power struggle. He was the undiputed most powerful of
all of us, but, with him gone, people began to question the autority of Dorel and me. Naje was one of the strongest of us.
Not as good as Dorel or myself, but close. Dorel was the best at using the force. I was the best in sword combat. Naje was
good with the force like Dorel.
Naje eventually got fourteen of us to join him. He told them that we were holding back their power and that when we were
gone, they would be much more powerful. People believed him. That left just six of us aginst fourteen. I thought back to when
I first came here with Ukan. That we had killed over a hundred Jedi by ourselves. I knew that those had been weak Jedi, that
Jedi Masters would be far harder to defeat, but I had still come out victorious against far many foes.
Dorel decided that we should go to war. That it would be the only way to keep us from destroying ourselves. The other five
in our group agreed, so against Ukan’s orders I would lead us to war against the Jedi.
Dorel presented our plan to Naje and his followers. Many of them were anxious to fight and would rather fight the Jedi
instead of ourselves.
We all loaded on to this old freighter that Dorel had come in and began to fly to remote planets and fight and kill the
Jedi on more equal terms. We sought out Jedi and fought and killed them. It became a hunt of sorts. The Forever Hunt.
Chapter Fourteen: My Fall to Darkness
I did eventually abandon the ways of the light. I took the longest, but I did eventually do it. Everyone except Ukan, Dorel,
and myself fell to the darkside on Reloth. The place had a strange effect that just pushed people to the darkside.
It happened on the way to a planet where we believed a large number of Jedi were on a mission to find some strange artifact.
We had been contacted by Ukan and told to try and retrieve the artifact. He still hadn’t said where he was though.
We were ambushed by a large Republic warship. It was a Flamebird class. Apparently we had gained the attention of
the Republic and the Jedi. It seemed unlikely that they would be able to find our next target. It was probably the Jedi on
board that found us, there was four Jedi on the ship.
They had us caught in a tractor beam before we had any time to react. They weren’t going to let us on the ship though,
they had us pinned so they could destroy us with laser fire. I wasn’t about to let that happen, but there didn’t
seem to anyway to avoid it.
There was panic on the ship. They knew that they were about to be destroyed. Dorel asked if I had a plan. I told him let
the force be your guide. He stared at me for a few seconds then said, "Well okay...... I guess I’ll go try that from
the laser turret." A couple seconds later I heard the turret firing. It wouldn’t do anything to a ship that size though.
I let the force guide me. It told me to go to the cockpit. That was all. It wasn’t exactly what I was expecting,
but I decided to try it. I got there a few seconds later. After a few moments I felt the urge to get my sword. I did and was
back in the cockpit within ten seconds. I began to pour energy into my sword. I just pour all of my energy into it. After
about thirty seconds I grabbed the ship in a force grip and ripped it in two. The core breached and the ship exploded after
a few seconds. I fell to my knees exhausted. Wow. I had no idea I was capable of such things. I was amazed. I then realized,
I had fallen to the darkside.
Chapter Fifteen: Meeting With Ukan
Several days after that incident I told Ukan what had happened. He was quite surprised that I had managed to do such a
thing, but collected himself quickly. I asked him what he had been doing all of this time. He said that he had learned of
two very important things in the library and had gone to seek them out. One was a great source of power. It was an ancient
Sith artifact.
He had also learned of the Sith Empire. The actual Empire itself. It had been living in secrecy for thousands of years,
waging wars among themselves until one powerful ruler had emerged and declared himself the Dark lord of the Sith. Ukan had
ventured into the Sith territory and made contact with them. He had eventually been able to talk to the Dark Lord, but it
had taken many months. After a show of his power, the Dark Lord was impressed enough that he didn’t want to have to
deal with Ukan in a fight and decided to befriend him.
Ukan had been trying to get a hold of the Kaiburr Staff for months and finally was able to get it. It did as much as his
kaiburr crystal, but was able of producing the same effects on multiple people at the wielders discretion. It had a large
kaiburr crystal in the top of it and was about two meters long.
He used it’s power on me. In an instant I felt my power quadruple. With this we could take the fight to the Jedi.
I began to plan what we would do with it. I envisioned an assault on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. We would destroy the Jedi.
Ukan, as if reading my mind, told me that we would attack the Jedi Temple. He then said that he would not be going. He
would return to the Sith Empire and do what he thought was necessary there. I bid him farewell for a final time and then talked
to Dorel and I began making assault plans.
Chapter Sixteen: The Plan to Destroy the Jedi
Dorel was a master planner. I was good at making plans also, but I just couldn’t compete with the way that he was
able to see the battle field from hundreds of angles at one time. At how he could see what would happen during a battle and
predict the way it would go before it even happened. It was an amazing skill that the Echani called battle precognition.
I told him about how I wanted to assault Coruscant. He said something about there being better, more strategic places for
us to strike. He said that the best thing would be to strike at Katarr. There are many force sensitive’s that come from
there. He said that if we attacked there and destroyed the Jedi stronghold, that he believed that the Miraluka would loose
faith in the Jedi ways and abandon the Jedi Order. That some of them might even join us in our battle.
It seemed like a great plan, but Katarr had more force users on it than any planet, even Coruscant. Dorel estimated there
to be somewhere between four and six hundred Jedi, about a hundred of them Masters, there and about six thousand force sensitives
on top of that. Sure most of the people on Katarr weren’t nearly as good as Jedi, they were still capable. There was
no way we could win.
I asked Dorel what was he thinking. He said, "This mission will be a sucide mission, but many we see our sacrifice and
their faith in the Jedi will begin to waver. It will pave the way for many other schisms in the Jedi Order that will last
for thousands of years. I have seen something. It is a vision of thousands of years from now. Five thousand years from now,
because of what we do on Katarr, a powerful Jedi will leave the Order and wage a war against the Order. I believe that he
will conquer the Jedi because I have seen him living for thousands of years. All because of what we do on Katarr. I say we
fight. We will be forgotten for years. But the destruction of the Jedi will happen, and it will be by our will." Dorel slammed
his fist on the table, making small cracks in it.
These few sentences amazed me. How was it that Dorel was able to see so far into the future. If he was right, then I would
do this and I knew that all of the other would agree to it. I agreed and it was settled. We would attack Katarr tomorrow and
destroy the Jedi in five thousand years.
Chapter Seventeen: Our Attack is Delayed
I presented the plan to the others and they all agreed with it. We started heading for Katarr immediately. It would be
nine hours before we would get there. I began to show the others the power of the Kaiburr Staff. Each one was amazed by it’s
power. I also gave each of them a small rock that looked like a dagger. These were another thing that Ukan had given me. When
it was pointed at a force user and focused upon in a certain way. It drained the energy out of the target and gave it to the
user as long as the user was more powerful than the target.
The dagger-like weapons, Ukan called them Kiliks, would be instrumental in doing as much damage as possible. It would allow
my troops to regain their strength during battle extremely quickly. We would be able to fight for hours.
Suddenly, a strange creature appeared and told me not to attack Katarr yet. That we would be destroyed before we even reached
the surface and our sacrifice would be forgotten.
I told the others that we would change course and head to the coordinates I had been given. It would only set us back a
few hours and we would still be able to attack tomorrow.
When we got to the coordinates there was a lone ship floating above some uncharted planet. I turned on the holoscreen and
contacted them. It was a strange species with a long oval head and eyes protruding to the sides. It was lean and bipedal and
spoke some strange language. It was a language that was almost forgotten. It was one used long ago by a powerful species,
I had learned it on Reloth deep within the library.
It said, "Greetings. I am Onuta of the Infinite Empire. I know what you plan to do, and will help you in your quest. My
clan has prepared for you a powerful weapon that will allow you to leave the mark that your "Dorel" envisioned. It is a shield
against the energy of the Jedi. It will make you immune to all of their force powers as long as I am keeping it active. I
know you have questions about who I am and what the Infinite Empire is. I will tell you this. We were once the rulers of the
galaxy. We were a warlike species that lived for conquest. We eventually lost our connection to the force and were killed
by a powerful plague that affected only our species and that of the now extinct Teotin. We our now scattered. There are only
a few thousand of us left, barly a shadow of our former self."
He then said, "Enough talk. We need to get to move quickly before the Miraluka discover our plan."
He then entered our ship and we went to Katarr as fast as we could. He said something about us winning this fight with
his help. I doubted that he alone would allow up to defeat the Miraluka, but I knew he would be very helpful. It would be
a few hours until we would get there.
Chapter Eighteen: The Battle of Katarr
I gave the Kaiburr Staff to the alien. He wouldn’t be going into combat. He would stay by the ship with the Kaiburr
Staff and empower us at the same time protecting us from the Miraluka’s force attacks.
As soon as we began descending into the atmosphere we were hit by a massive beam of force energy. It would have destroyed
us just like Onuta had said, but because of his strange ability to make us immune to their force attacks, we were unharmed.
We arrived on the planet on time and were instantly charged by several dozen Miraluka. I alone was able to defeat four
of them in by the time we had killed them all. One of our troops had died though. Naje had taken two of them and Dorel had
caught six in a force grip and let them be killed by our number with swords.
These were the weak one’s though. They were the overeager Padawons that charged instead of waiting with their masters.
The longer the battle went on, the harder it would become. The strongest Jedi were in the main temple, preparing for something
that I knew I had to stop. I kept feeling some strange feeling in the back of my mind the whole time, but I don’t know
what it is.
I left the main fray of the battle and went to go fight on my own. I worked better that way. I saw a circle of about two
hundred Miraluka defenders gathering a force storm above the main group. It would probably kill several of us and I could
not let that happen. I let my sword empower me and I was able to take the energy from the force storm and though it at the
Miraluka, killing them all instantly. Several Miraluka saw what I did and began to run to their ships tp get away. I let them
leave, it made the battle easier and there was no need to kill any more than necessary.
There was a massive explosion to the east and I felt a glimmer of victory from Dorel. I believe that he destroyed the main
power center here. That alone would kill a thousand Miraluka. I charged on, sending out massive surges of force lightning
as I went, killing dozens of Miraluka with each blast.
I ran to the main stronghold where the strongest of the Jedi would be. It took me several minutes to get there, but I made
it. By the time I had gotten there, I had felt the death of many of our number, only Dorel, Naje, Yojo, Tae, and myself were
still alive. This was going worse than I had first thought it would.
Suddenly Tae died. I felt through the force that she was killed fighting a Jedi Master. A strong one. I felt a wave of
victory from Yojo as he got one of the Masters.
I got a vision through the force. Dorel was surronded by over twenty Jedi Masters. I wanted to help him, but I knew I couldn’t
Naje was almost to him though. And looked behind me and I saw Yojo coming my way. He had three Masters, seven Knights, and
over forty Miraluka chasing him.
I pulled out my Kiliks. With one in each hand I dropped the Masters within a few seconds. Having never seen these before,
they were unable to react and were killed quickly. I now had their energy. I one of the Knights and then sent a massive beam
towards the ones folling Yojo. I did what I could to keep it from hitting Yojo, but some still got him. He would be fine though,
he was strong enough.
After the dust cleared and only Yojo was still there. These Kiliks were handy, I had a plan.
Yojo and I ran over to were the Masters were located. There was sixty of them all in the same area. I took my Kiliks out
and told Yojo to do the same. We began to shoot any of the Knights that we saw.
After a while I looked back over to where the Masters were. They had created a massive ball of force energy. It had a trail
of energy going from each Master, into the Orb. I recognized the technique after a few moments. It was an Ancient Technique
used to whipe out large groups of darksiders. It didn’t harm lightsider user’s though.
I aimed my Kiliks into the center of the orb. Yojo did the same. I strained for several seconds and then felt major feedback
through the Kiliks. They began to crack and then shatter in my hands. They then exploded. I was knocked over by the blast.
I found Yojo lying dead about ten feet from me.
Only seconds after I found Yojo lying dead I felt Naje die. Killed by the Jedi. The horrible Jedi. I would kill them for
this.
I then heard Dorel scream even though I was miles from him. A massive wave of dark energy raced from his body, killing
everyone with in a several miles of him. I was knocked over by the blast, as was everyone else. I tried to sence Dorel. He
was gone. Not dead, but gone.
I was about to plunge into the group of sixty Masters on a suicide attack, but was halted by seeing Onuta landing. I had
completly forgotten about him. He ran out of the ship and threw me the Kiaburr Staff. I asked him what he was doing here.
He said that he was going to help me even more. That I had to destroy that orb of force energy above the Masters.
It was then that I thought about it. I was immune to the force powers the Jedi would have normaly used on me, but still
able to be harmed by certain force powers. As if reading my mind, which he probably did, he said, "There are techniques within
the force against which there is no defense.". Now this is strange to me, but I wonder if I can use these.
It was not the time and I probably would never get a chance to learn these. It didn’t matter, I had to finish my
mission. Onuta said, "That orb, it is dangerous beyond what even the Jedi know. It has the power to destroy many of the secrets
winthin this planet."
I said in response, "What do you mean secrets here? This is a regular planets with a ton of force users." A ton of force
users, that was it. This place had so many force users for a reason. I don’t know why. Onuta wouldn’t tell me.
He said I would find out on my own eventually, but not here, not now. As a ghost. Yes, after I’m dead I’ll find
out. Ya right.
Onuta started to run towards the group of Masters, I followed him. At about two hundred meters form the group of Masters
he did a large force assisted leap towards the Orb. I followed him into it.
The energy inside it was burning me. Onuta went to it’s center and took the energy of several of four Masters and
sent it back at them. I did the same and took out another four. Onuta grabbed five of them and sent those back at the Masters
controlling them.
I was about to take out another three of them when Onuta was hit by something. He fell from the Orb and landed right in
the middle of the Jedi.
He got up and made a stand. He threw his sword at one Master and got that one, but was killed by a lightsaber I thown into
his back by one of the Masters.
I jumped down out of the Orb and grabbed two of the Masters in a force grip. I threw them into their Jedi pals like they
were nothing.Three of them charge me. I defeated them all in a single swing. I then stabbed another one of them with a backward
swing over my head. I then turned and sent force lightning into twelve of them. Then followed with a force push sending them
flying.
Working as a collective force they grabbed me in a force grip and had me stuck and were advancing on me, lightsabers in
hand.
They had me in. There was nothing left for me to do except.
Chapter Nineteen: The Story Passes to Another
I don’t know how to start. Well, firstly, I would like to say that I am honored to be able to finish the my apprentice
started. He was killed during the Battle of Katarr. I arrived in the system just in time to see what happened on the surface.
It was bad down there, there was no way I could have saved him.
He died on the Katarr caught in the force grip of over forty Jedi. He took this Orb thing that was floating over him and
broke it open, causing it to explode, killing them all. Out of the original six hundrd Jedi and five thousnd Miraluka, not
a single remained alive. It’s amazing really. A band of twenty Dark Jedi and a single member of a forgotten race were
able to defeat the Jedi stronghold in the galaxy. I will never get over it. It’s just amazing.
I went down to the surface to try and recover what I could of the battle. I managed to get the Kiaburr Staff, six of the
Kiliks, Ajunta’s Sword, three of the other swords, and Dorel’s Jedi Crest. The planet was covered in bodies. It
was a mess.
As I was leaving the planet I saw a fleet of carriers coming heading towards Katarr. Jedi ships. They were going to destroy
all trace of what had happened and rebuild their stronghold. There must have been around three thousand Jedi in those ships.
It was an army. I had to report this to the Dark Lord. I left the system immediately.
I got to the Empire only a day later and informed the Dark Lord. He was very impressed that a group of Dark Jedi had managed
to do what they did on Katarr as they were commonly felt to be weaker than Sith. After a while I was able to cinvince him
that we should attack the new forces on Katarr. He despatched eight thousand Sith Warriors to attack Katarr with me as second
in command, following him, or course.
It took about four hours to get all of the Sith into ships and depart for Katarr. Even after seeing the scope of the Empire,
I was impressed by the speed at which troops were assembled. Thirty hours later we were there.
I am not going to go into detail about the battle in Ajunta’s Journal, but I will in mine. In the end, we killed
all of the Jedi lost only eighteen hundred troops. The Jedi lost one of their best Masters in the fighting, Master Tylic.
She was powerful, but I defeated her in one-on-one combat.
The Empire should have gone on to fight the Republic, instead, we chose not to. Ajunta recieved a complete funeral reserved
only for Dark Lords. Tos Yuk was the name of the Dark Lord of the Sith. He gave his original tomb to Ajunta. He built another
for himself though, a bigger one. He took the Kiaburr Staff and placed it below the Ajunta’s sarcophagus. It would be
able to be retrieved only by someone who new it was there. Ajunta Pall’s final secret. Or is it.
I have noticed that throughout his journal he left out hundreds of events. Another thing, as a direct note to whoever is
reading this, remember that the Jedi are wrong. That they are the true evil ones. My apprentice sacrificed himself to fight
them. I have spent years fighting them. Their propganda shows us as the evil ones, but a greater understanding must be achieved.
